What does this policy cover?

This policy explains what cookies and similar tracking technologies are used on the Wellcast website (wellcast.life) and, where applicable, within the Wellcast app. It tells you what each technology does, why we use it, and how you can control it.

The Wellcast mobile app does not use browser cookies. Analytics and crash reporting within the app are handled via SDKs (software libraries) rather than cookies. These are disclosed in our Privacy Policy and governed by the consent choices you make during app onboarding.

4. Third-Party and Embedded Content

Where the Wellcast website embeds content from third parties (for example, the Freshdesk support widget embedded via Squarespace), those third parties may set their own cookies. We do not control these cookies. Please refer to the relevant third party's own cookie or privacy policy:

5. Cookies we do NOT use

Wellcast does not use:

  • Advertising or targeting cookies — we do not serve third-party advertising

  • Social media tracking pixels (e.g. Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel)

  • Cookies that track you across other websites for advertising purposes

Your choices and how to control cookies

Cookie consent banner

When you first visit the Wellcast website, you will be shown a cookie consent banner. You can choose to accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or manage your preferences by category. Your preference is stored and will be applied on future visits.

Browser-level controls

Do Not Track

Some browsers include a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. There is currently no agreed standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals, so the Wellcast website does not alter its behaviour in response to DNT signals. Your cookie preferences set through the consent banner take precedence.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The version number and date at the top reflect the current version. We will notify you of material changes via the website.
